Welcome to our weekly classes
Each one a space to move, breathe, learn, and connect. Whether you’re new or experienced, all levels are welcome. Our approach blends meditation, yoga, reading & reflection, and mindful living — all rooted in community wellness.
Donation-based classes: attend at no fixed cost, pay what you can.
Hands-on instruction: classes led by experienced teachers provide beginners with clear guidance.
Rich variety: movement, meditation, study, and shared reflection—all in one place.
Community first: located in Rogers Park, Chicago, this is wellness and connection in action.
What you need
Bring yourself — cushions and mats are provided for most sessions.
Arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
All are welcome, regardless of prior experience, inclusive of all races, genders, orientations, and backgrounds.

Each class focuses on a specific theme or text—from emptiness and interdependence to lojong, the six perfections, and the Bodhisattva path. This is Buddhism 101. It’s for those who want to delve into the teachings, pose profound questions, and integrate Buddhist wisdom into everyday life.

Recovery Dharma: Beginner’s Mind is a weekly meeting grounded in Buddhist principles and open-hearted inquiry. Together, we explore recovery through meditation, reading, videos, talks, and honest sharing—approaching each moment with curiosity instead of judgment.

This meeting weaves together Recovery Dharma with the timeless wisdom of Langri Thangpa’s Eight Verses of Mind Training. Each week, we explore how these powerful Lojong teachings directly support the recovery journey—transforming resentment into compassion, ego into humility, and suffering into awakening.

SMART Recovery
SUNDAY 5-6:30pm | In-person
SMART Recovery is a peer support group where people help themselves and each other. People report back on how their last week has been, discuss the agenda item they have put forward, and what their plans are for the coming week. The SMART Recovery tools are discussed and used during the meeting.
